ICOFC MD: The Khartang gas field entered initial production in the winter of 2025/26 (Iranian year 1404), and plans are currently underway to further increase output from this field.

The Engineering and Construction Director of the ICOFC: The Khartang gas field will be officially inaugurated in March this year (2026) by the President in the presence of the Oil Minister. The field will come on stream with a production capacity of 3 to 4.5 million cubic meters of natural gas per day.
