Mohsen Paknejad, deputy for production affairs at National Iranian Oil Co. (NIOC), announced that the blowout of well #147 in Rag-e-Sefid oilfield by local experts were successfully capped on Tuesday, 26th of Dec. 2017, after 58 days of non-stop operations, reported the website NIOC.
A fire broke out on ‘Fath-95’ land rig of NIDC, which was drilling in Rag-e-Sefid oilfield in Bushehr province, on 29th of October 2017.
The cause of the fire has been the gas explosion of the well where ‘Fath-95’ drilling rig completely collapsed.
