NIOC MD new advisor appointed

According to the PR office of National Iranian Oil Co. (NIOC), managing director of NIOC Roknoddin Javadi appointed Gholam Hossein Ashrafi his advisor and a board member of Manufacturing Support & Procurement Kala Naft Tehran. Earlier, Ashrafi used to be director of PR office of NIOC as well as advisor and head of office of managing director of that company.

Petro Farhang Company

According to the Persian Oil News Website, Mohebollah DolatZadeh, managing director of Petro Farhang Co., stated that this company was established in June 2008 as a private joint stock corporation and added: “Petrochemical companies of Morvarid, Khorasan, Middle East Kimia Pars Co. (MEKPCO), Lavan, Maroun, Tabriz as well as Tabriz and Esfahan oil refineries are among the companies some of which shares are possessed by Petro Farhang Co.”

Khaqan Abbasi due in Tehran today: Business Recorder

 Pakistan''s Petroleum and Natural Resources Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi is to arrive in Tehran on Sunday to meet senior Iranian officials over the accomplishment of Iran-Pakistan (IP) gas pipeline. The Pakistani Oil Minister will head a high-ranking delegation, including his Deputy Abed Saeed and Head of Pakistan''s Gas System Company Mobin Solat as well as several other senior officials, during visit to Tehran.

Iran forms special committee to resolve Crescent row: Tehran Times

The National Security Council of Iran has formed a special committee to follow up and resolve the row with the United Arab Emirates over the disputed Crescent deal.Former Iranian oil minister Rostam Qasemi is a member of the committee, Iranian MP Mousa Ahmadi told the Mehr News Agency on Saturday. The National Iranian Oil Company and Sharjah-headquartered Crescent Petroleum signed a 25-year gas contract in 2001, with a price linked to oil. But as oil rallied some Iranian officials called for a revision to the price formula and blamed the price dispute for delivery delays.
