Iran’s Tamin Petroleum & Petrochemical Investment Co. (TAPPICO) plans to sell its 53.09% controlling stake in Abadan Petrochemical Company through an all-cash block transaction on Iran's Farabourse market on November 17, 2026.

The offering comprises approximately 5.31 billion shares at a base price of Rial 7,728 per share, valuing the block at Rial 41.03 trillion.

Bidders must provide a deposit or unconditional bank guarantee equivalent to 10% of the base value and submit the required documents by November 8. The winning bidder must settle the transaction within two working days.

Successful completion of the sale would transfer majority ownership and management control of Abadan Petrochemical to a new investor. However, the sale remains subject to a successful bidding process and full settlement.
