Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian will travel to Moscow on October 27 to attend the 8th summit of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF), Iranian Ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali announced.
The summit will focus on global gas market developments, cooperation among gas exporters, technological collaboration and strengthening natural gas’s role in global energy security.
Leaders are also expected to discuss protecting exporters’ interests amid international economic restrictions and changing energy market conditions.
