Iran’s Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC) has increased the number of offshore drilling rigs operating in fields under its management from four to 12 since the start of the 14th administration in August 2024, strengthening its capacity to support production and field development.
POGC said the fleet now includes 10 rigs in South Pars, one in the Belal field and one in the Kish gas field, enabling simultaneous drilling, infill-well operations, well maintenance and development projects.
