Iran’s Oil Ministry will bring a series of key projects onstream by the end of this year. These projects are aimed at increasing oil and gas production, reported the News Agency of Iran Oil Ministry.
Accordingly, the National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC) has 28 projects worth €3.7 billion under way, which will boost Iran’s oil production and processing capacity. Among these projects are the commissioning of the third unit of the Gachsaran gas injection station and the completion of the Bibi Hakimeh gas injection station to stabilize oil production. In addition, the third unit of the Rag Sefid-1 gas compression station will be launched by March 2026.
Meanwhile, the Iranian Central Oil Fields Company (ICOFC) will bring the Khartang gas field development project onstream by March 2026, with a target production of 4 mcm/d. The Homa and Dehloran gas compression centers, with production targets of over 5 mcm/d and 4 mcm/d respectively, along with the Tabnak separation plant, will be commissioned by end September 2025, while the development of the Tous gas field will come onstream by December this year.
The Iranian Offshore Oil Company (IOOC) will also complete the Doroud gas injection project, aimed at boosting oil production by 9,100 bpd, by October 2025, and finish the Abuzar pipeline project to stabilize production at 70,000 bpd by February 2026. The company will also install platforms at the Reshadat oil field by March 2026 and complete the 30-inch Salman–Sirri pipeline by November this year.
Similarly, the Petroleum Engineering and Development Company (PEDEC) will launch Phase 1 of South Azadegan by March 2026 with 19 new wells, 18 downhole pumps, and a central processing unit (CTEP), aiming to increase oil production by 43,000 bpd and boost oil processing capacity by 80,000 bpd.
Among the Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC) projects are the installation and commissioning of a single point mooring (SPM) at the Jask oil terminal, the development of the Siraf service port, the completion and startup of five infill wells in South Pars to increase gas output by 6 mcm/d, and the completion of drilling of 18 remaining South Pars wells to raise gas production by 14 mcm/d, all scheduled for completion by year-end (March 2026).
