The US is continuing to blacklist operators in Iran’s oil trade amid talks over a nuclear deal with Tehran. The State Department designated seven entities engaged in the trade of Iranian petroleum products and petrochemical products and is identifying two vessels as blocked property.
The move comes just after Iran announced a fourth round of talks with President Donald Trump’s administration to take place Saturday in Rome.
Iran is seeking sanctions relief as part of a deal on its contested nuclear program.
