Iran exported $23.2 Bln of crude oil overseas in the first six months of the current Iranian year (started late March 2024), Mohammad Rezvanifar, the Head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) said.
According to Rezvanifar, Iran’s total exports reached $49.6 Bln in the mentioned period.
Regarding the export of petrochemicals, Rezvanifar added that 28.1 Mln tons of petrochemical products worth $11.3 Bln were exported from the country in this period.
Regarding Iran’s main export destinations in the first 6 months, Rezvanifar said: “China with $7.2 Bln, Iraq with $5.2 Bln, United Arab Emirates with $3.4 Bln, Turkey with $2.4 Bln, Afghanistan With $1.1Bln, Pakistan with $1 Bln and India with $ 0.9 Bln were the main export destinations of the country during this period.”
