According to some Iranian News websites, Hossein Shiva has been appointed as the new managing director of Iranian Offshore Engineering & Construction Co. (IOEC), replacing Mohammad Reza Zahiri in the position.
Shiva has served the following main managerial posts in the past:
- Manaiging Director of National Iranian Tanker Company (NITC),
- Director general of inspection affairs at Iran Oil Ministry.
Shiva holds a PhD in Systems Management from Iran’s Imam Hossein University and a Master's degree in Marine Engineering from Shahid Chamran University in Ahvaz.
