Iraq plans to raise the production capacity of Siba gas field in Basra from 60 million to 100 million cubic feet per day(mcf/d), a statement by the Iraqi oil ministry cited minister Hayan Abdel-Ghani as saying on Friday.
Located about 30km southeast of Basra city, the Siba gas field also currently produces approximately 1,200 tonnes of liquid gas and 1,000 barrels of condensates. With nearly 4 trillion cubic meters of gas deposits.
