Javad Owji, Iran’s Oil Minister announced the discovery of three oil and one gas fields in different part of Iran in the past 2 years, with recoverable liquid hydrocarbons equivalent of 2.6 billion barrels, reported the News Agency of Iran Oil Ministry.
Talking to reporters on the sidelines of the weekly cabinet session on Wednesday, Owji added: “Hirkany oilfield in northeastern province of Golestan, Tengo and Genaveh oilfields in Bushehr province, and Cheshmeh Shour gas field in Khorasan Razavi province are the four fields discovered in the past two years.”
He didn’t give more details about the discovered field.
