Iranian oil ministry to sue German company for breach of contract: MNA
 
Iranian oil ministry will sue the German Company MAN for not fulfilling its commitment at Shazand refinery. MAN had to deliver high tech equipments such as turbo compressors and train Iranian technicians adequately but none was done.The contract with MAN was signed before the sanctions were imposed on Iran.
 
Iran to manufacture home-made gas turbine: Press TV
 
‎Iran's deputy oil minister says the country has become the first member state of the OPEC to manufacture indigenous gas turbines. Mohammad-Reza Moqaddam said: “A contract has been signed with Oil Turbo-Compressor Company to make a 100-percent indigenous [gas] turbine,” he said. Moqaddam added that according to the current schedule, the first national Iranian gas turbine will be officially unveiled in 2015.
 
Iran launches first exploration robot in Caspian Sea: Press TV
 
Iran’s North Drilling Company says the country launched its first exploration robot in the Caspian Sea’s Sardar-e Jangal gas field last year to take offshore drilling operations to a depth of 800-1,000 meters. The robot moves along the Caspian seabed and its main duty is opening and closing undersea valves that control oil gush. Moving equipment at a depth of 800-1,000 meters and sending pictures to Amir Kabir [drilling] platform and reporting possible oil and gas leaks are also among the other duties of this oil robot.
 
Dragon oil awards NDC for fast drilling in Caspian Sea
 
The United Arab Emirates’ Dragon Oil paid some $1.2 million as awards to Iran’s North Drilling Co. (NDC) for accelerating the drilling of wells in the Caspian Sea, Mehr News agency reported.

Iranian tanker sent to Syria has loaded crude from Baniyas: Platts

An Iranian tanker, the second in a month sent by Iran to help sanctions-strapped Syria ship oil to the international market, loaded a crude parcel from the Syrian port of Baniyas at the weekend and is headed to Tartous to load more crude, shipping sources said Monday.The 158,000 dwt Amin, which is owned by Irano Hind, is headed for Tartous after loading the first parcel at Baniyas, one source said.
