Jalil Salari, Managing Director of National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC) talked about the start of executive operations of Shahid Soleimani Petrorefinery and commissioning of two refining projects in Abadan and Shiraz oil refineries in current Iranian year (started 20th March 2024).
According to the News Agency of Iran Oil Ministry, he stated: “The basic studies of the project have been started and the assignments of under the license’s units have been set and we hope to start the executive operations from the beginning of 1403.”
He added: “This year, we will put into operation a 43,000 bpd unit in Abadan Oil Refinery, which will increase the gasoline production of the refinery by 9 Mln lpd and its diesel production by 5 Mln lpd. Also, by setting up another unit in the Shiraz Oil Refinery, the quality of gasoline of this refinery will be Euro 4.”
