Javad Owji, Iran’s Oil Minister talked about the latest status of the plan to revive Iran Golestan Urea/ Ammonia project and stated: “We have requested the National Petrochemical Industries Company (NPC) and the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (PGPIC) to invest in this petrochemical project and take shares of it, which fortunately has been agreed. I believe that due to the addition of new shareholders, there will be a good change in the Golestan Petrochemical project and the executive works to start soon,” reported the IRNA.
The project to construct Iran Golestan Urea/ Ammonia Complex, which has been started in over 16 years ago, is still at a halt.
