Masoud Afshar, Deputy Managing Director of National Iranian Drilling Co. (NIDC) in Operation Affairs, talked about drilling and completion of 26 oil and gas wells in both the onshore and offshore regions of the country, in the first quarter of current (Iranian) year (started late March 2022), reported the PR office of NIDC.
He added: “Out of these 26 wells, 2 are development wells, 2 exploration wells and 22 are work-over wells.”
Afshar continued: “21 wells of the total wells drilled are located in the regions run under National Iranian South Oil Co. (NISOC), 2 well for Exploration Dept. of NIOC and 3 wells for Iranian Offshore Oil Company (IOOC).”
In the first quarter of last Iranian year, NIDC had also drilled 22 oil and gas wells in both onshore and offshore regions of the country.
