Iran’s President-elect Ebrahim Raisi announced his plan to pursue broad and balanced cooperation with all countries of the world, and said: "Any negotiation in which national interests are guaranteed will definitely be supported, but we will not tie the economic situation of the people to the negotiations.”

According to News Agency of Iran Oil Ministry, Raisi in his first press conference after winning the 13th presidential election, which was held Monday, June 21, said: " We will pursue a broad and balanced cooperation with all countries in the world, but we will not tie the economic situation of the people to these negotiations, and by emphasizing outcome-orientation, we will not allow erosive negotiations to take place.”

He said that the foreign policy of his administration would not start from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and would not be limited to it, adding: "The United States has an obligation to lift all the sanctions, what is repeatedly emphasized in this administration and the future administration, is the lifting of sanctions and its verification.”

The President-elect also called on the United States to live up to its commitments regarding the JCPOA.
