Oil price rises on falling Iranian exports: Reuters 

Oil prices rose on Tuesday on signs Iranian oil exports this month have fallen from September ahead of U.S. sanctions against Tehran that are set to start in November. Iran has exported 1.33 million barrels per day (bpd) to countries including India, China and Turkey in the first two weeks of October, according to Refinitiv Eikon data. That was down from 1.6 million bpd in September, the data showed.

Russia, Iran pledge joint efforts to stabilize global oil market: Xinhua

Russian and Iranian energy ministers on Monday discussed potential further regulations in oil production under the deal reached between the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and non-OPEC producers, the Russian Energy Ministry said. At a working meeting, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak and Iranian Petroleum Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh discussed the situation on the world oil market, according to a news release of the Russian ministry. Novak and Zanganeh also discussed cooperation between the two countries in fuel and other energy sectors.

MRPL expects India to get waiver from U.S. sanctions on Iran this month: Reuters

India’s Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) expects India to get a waiver from U.S. sanctions on Iranian oil exports this month, a company official said on Tuesday.

Executive secretary of the global anti-money laundering body the Financial Action Task Force believes that Iran's removal from the list of non-cooperative jurisdictions would help the country develop its financial ties with the world regardless of the US sanctions.  In an interview with the BBC, David Lewis was asked whether Iran's removal from the blacklist of the inter-governmental organization would have any positive results for the country's financial ties, to which he responded: "Yes of course". 

China to construct oil refinery in Iran: IRNA

Deputy Governor General of Mazandaran for Economic Affairs Hassan Kheirianpour said on Monday that Chinese companies have voiced readiness to do investment and construct oil refinery in the north of Iran. Kheirianpour said in a meeting with the economic envoy from Jiangxi Province in China. Chinese companies are ready to invest dlrs two billion in construction of the oil refinery in Mazandaran Province, the news read.
